HCMI Finalizes Agreement with Life Chiropractic College

SPRINGFIELD, MO May 6, 2006 - HCMI and Life Chiropractic College have finalized an agreement that will take the college to the next level of x-ray imaging with the installation of a direct digital (DR) radiographic system.  HCMI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Summit Industries, has been serving the chiropractic profession’s needs for over 19 years.

Merry X-ray/SourceOne Sign Summit Agreement

CHICAGO — March 22, 2006 — Summit Industries and Merry X-ray/SourceOne have signed a distribution agreement in which Summit will manufacture Merry X-ray/SourceOne labeled radiographic equipment. Merry X-ray/SourceOne is one of the largest imaging organizations in the country and comprised of 130 sales representatives and over 300 service engineers.

Introducing AMRAD FMT, OTS and Chest DXR Digital Systems

CHICAGO — Nov. 27, 2005 — Summit Industries introduces 3 new high-performance digital radiography medical systems under the AMRAD™ brand.  The floor-mounted AMRAD Dual DXR FMT and the ceiling mounted Dual DXR OTS systems feature two patented, CCD (charge-coupled device) direct digital receptors placed on both the wall stand and inside the X-ray table to simplify tube positioning and maximize efficiency.  The new AMRAD DXR Chest Digital System is equipped with a patented, single CCD direct digital receptor.  

These systems capture and store high-resolution images on the industry’s largest image area, 17” x 17”, in just six seconds and are now available from authorized AMRAD Digital dealers.

Summit Sales Continue to Climb

CHICAGO — Nov. 1, 2005 — Summit completes its 21st year of operations with record sales.  For the fiscal year, sales were up nearly 10% over the prior year, due primarily to increased sales of our new digital radiographic products and increased penetration into international markets.

CHICAGO — Oct. 28, 2005 — A new digital X-ray system designed to improve patient care standards, and streamline workflow at chiropractic clinics of all sizes is now available from Summit Industries.  Using a 17-by-17-inch direct digital receptor, the new Summit Chiropractic DXR captures and stores high-resolution images in six seconds.

Chiropractors can now get all the necessary patient diagnostic information from one image using a DXR system. By eliminating the effort demanded by film cassette handling and developing, a digitally driven Chiropractic DXR system streamlines clinic workflow. The Chiropractic DXR system is available from authorized Summit Digital dealers.

Summit Industries Delivers ‘RAY’ of Hope to Hurricane Katrina’s Animal Victims

CHICAGO — Oct. 24, 2005— Summit Industries, the veterinary profession’s largest provider of X-ray equipment, donated an InnoVet™ DXR digital X-ray system to the North Shore Animal League.  InnoVet’s donation helps North Shore Animal League care for 500 pets rescued from Louisiana and Texas. The new DXR replaced a 20-year-old medical radiographic system that restricted and delayed the shelter’s ability to diagnose and treat hundreds of hurricane animal victims.

Summit Acquires Healthcare Manufacturing
